The workshops were fun and full of energy which transferred to the learners, who, by the end of each session wanted to please her with their performance. She challenged the high ability learners on more difficult instruments with complex rhythms and encouraged those who were not so enthusiastic by making sure they were involved with the performance. Marion communicated with the learners in a way that was easy for them to understand and they only moved on to the next step when they were comfortable with their rhythms and instruments.
